Track Record — Rating Accuracy
This page shows how Capall's ratings perform against UK and Irish horse racing outcomes. Every number is read live from the settled record and presented with its sample and limitations.
The headline metric is the top-3 placed rate: of the runners ranked in Capall's top 3 for a race, the share that actually placed. This is compared with the equivalent market ranking so the model and market can be read side by side.
A secondary stat shows the top-1 win rate: of the runner ranked #1 by Capall's CMR, the share that won, compared with the market's rank-1 baseline.
We do not display fabricated stats. If the settled sample is below the minimum threshold (600+ selections), the headline figure shows "Pending" rather than a number based on insufficient data.
